The CBAM Expert Declarant Workshop is a one-day event designed to provide executives with the knowledge and skills to confidently execute a CBAM strategy. This workshop is run by the same team that has helped promulgate the IACBAM Stakeholder Standards. They are the ones teaching.
You’ll get to ask questions directly the experts and walk away with practical advice and strategies that can be implemented immediately to implement your CBAM strategy.
Our Declarant Workshop includes a variety of learning formats. These include keynotes, small group work, scenario building, quizzes and Q&A. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in an informal roundtable with other business leaders. Together, we will explore all the core components of a robust CBAM strategy and together build confident, develop strategy and lower risk for your business.

We require you to meet some minimum entry requirements to be allowed to participate. These requirements include but are not limited to being an active business in the industry, having a position that bears responsibility for CBAM in your organization and operating in an industry where we are confident we can provide value. Yes, we'd love for you to bring a guest or team member to the Workshop. Please note that guests are not included in the individual ticket, and we do not offer bundled or group discounts. Dates are also subject to availability.
In addition, we host Workshops at different locations, with varying capacities. Places are first come, first serve.
The CBAM Expert Workshop will take place at a hotel in Geneva—location details will be announced closer to the event date.
No. Your ticket grants access to the one-day workshop plus light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments. Travel, lodging, and additional meals are not included. We recommend arranging your own accommodations and transport to the venue.
After purchase, you'll receive a guide with recommended hotels, restaurants, and local attractions in Geneva.
Yes—light breakfast, lunch, and beverages will be provided via private catering. We offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions after confirming your spot.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for registration and networking with a light buffet breakfast. The Workshop runs from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with doors closing at 6:30 p.m. Please plan your departures promptly so our team can reset the space.

The agenda features a mix of expert sessions, Q&A, roundtables, workbook activities, and meals/refreshments—designed to deliver actionable guidance for designing or improving your company's CBAM strategy and preparing your for the relevant IACBAM 300X:2025 certification.
The Workshop is led by Stuart Kibbe and the CBAM Expert team. Depending on composition, breakout sessions with subject-matter experts will ensure your questions are fully addressed.
Come with an open mind and eagerness to learn. We provide pens, a workbook, and name tags. You're welcome to bring your own materials—but please note, laptops and ringing cellphones are not allowed in the event space to maintain an immersive learning environment.

Yes. You may reschedule once within six months of your purchase for a CHF 100 transfer fee. Rescheduling within 72 hours of the event is only permitted for travel disruptions (e.g., visa issues, flight cancellations, illness).
There are no refunds. If the event is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund within 60 days. If postponed, your registration will transfer automatically to the next available workshop.
