In partnership with the International Association of CBAM (IACBAM), CBAM Expert offers a pathway for operators to certify their staff, their operations and their stakeholders, ensuring that a consistent standard is held across the supply chain.

The IACBAM Certification Framework offers a 'fit-for-purpose' certification for the CBAM value chain, encompassing CBAM platforms, service providers and declarants. It ensures alignment with regulatory, security, operational and data requirements, purpose-built for individuals and organizations dealing with CBAM. CBAM Expert Training is delivered by field experts and designed to help participants meet certification requirements and perform effectively within the CBAM value chain.

How To Get Certified

Step 1 - Complete a CBAM Expert Workshop
Step 2 - Register with IACBAM and take the relevant exam

Formal certification to an IACBAM standard is performed by IACBAM through their online examination process. CBAM Expert assists companies in preparing its staff for certification through its Workshops, and managed certification process.

Each person that has successfully completed a CBAM Expert Workshop as part of their IACBAM certification track will automatically be registered with IACBAM and receives a complementary exam attempt for the IACBAM standard of their choice, (3002:2025 or 3004:2025).
